According to Liam Spradlin of Android Police, Google is apparently testing a new Android feature, nicknamed KITT, that would provide an "always-on voice" comment system that permit drivers or bike riders to do web searches and other actions while driving, biking, or doing other things that require your concentration.  My questions: Why does Google believe you to need to be able to search the web while driving? Other than directions, what would you need to search for on the web while driving?  If this rumor is accurate, this is yet another attempt to try to make distracted driving "safer." The problem is that there is no such thing: all distracted driving is dangerous.
