SID 2014 – Safer Internet Day

Today is the 11th annual *Safer Internet Day (SID 2014*).

This year’s theme is: “Let’s create a better internet together.”

Safer Internet Day was originally founded by the European Commission (EC) and has spread to 100 countries worldwide and across all continents. As part of this year’s message,

SaferInternetDay webpage states, “We hope that, once again, all stakeholders – be they children and young people, parents and carers, teachers and educators, or industry and politicians – will join with us in marking the day and working together to build a better internet for all, but particularly children and young people.”
