Last summer, when Merritt Levitan was killed on a group cross-country bicycle trip by a young driver who had been on his cellphone, her friends decided to make something meaningful of her senseless death.

Texting while driving is dangerous and deadly. This article discusses what some friends of a teen allegedly killed by a distracted driver came up with to honor her memory. They started a campaign called "TextLess Live More."
